Data is the foundation of modern science today. Today’s enhanced science is data driven. The number of data produced has never been as colossal as it is today. At the same time fundamental principles of policy and management remain as challenges if the true value of data as research assets is to be realised :
– Where to store the data ?
– What part of the data to keep, as many experiments produce more data outcome than data storage exists ?

– How to make the data available ?
– How to link from classical publications to data ?
– How to award credit for the scientists who publish their data ?
